  • There are many services out there putting ads into podcasts already. Kiptronic and Fruitcast are the two that come to mind immediately. The podcast networks also put ads in the shows. It's here now and it's here to stay.

  • I didn't look into the details of the law suit against MR for the MyMP3 (or was it the original MP3Tunes? Not sure) but I suspec the RIAA took the position that sharing music is illegal. Even with those people who have already bought it.

  • That's why I suggested the starting pool of points. New users wouldn't even really notice the points system for the first little while. Hopefully by the time they notice that there even is comment points, they'll be contributing. I'm not sure what your second sentence means.

  • I agree - it's great to have a backup of my music and I'm not even a heavy user. I have less than 1/2 GB in my MP3 Tunes locker.
